2017 Accreditation Information


Activity Overview

The Interdisciplinary Autoimmune Summit will occur on March 24–26, 2017 at the New York Marriott Marquis. A question-and-answer session with the faculty will follow each presentation.

To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must complete the online evaluation form at www.naccme.com. All individuals who participate in the conference and submit the completed evaluation form online may immediately print their documentation of credit.

Please note the cutoff date for cancellation is January 13, 2017. All cancellations must be received in writing and postmarked by that date. Full registration (less a $100 processing fee or full registration amount, whichever is less) will be refunded only for cancellations received in writing before the above date. No refunds will be issued after January 13, 2017, without exception. Registrations are transferable at any time.

ACPE Credit Policy

The certificate is not the official record of your participation in the ac­tivity. The official record of credit will be the information in the CPE Monitor system.

Eligibility for pharmacy credit is contingent upon the successful completion of a post-test and/or evaluation for each activity or session attended. The reporting function into CPE Monitor will only be available for 60 days after your completion of the activity. Under ACPE Policy, NACCME will not be able to report your credit to CPE Monitor after this 60-day period.


 

Learning Objectives

After attending the Interdisciplinary Autoimmune Summit, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the relationship between the pathophysiology of immune-mediated chronic inflammatory diseases and the mechanism of action of new and existing treatments
  • Outline the roles of current and emerging immunosuppressive, anti-inflammatory and disease-modifying treatments for immune-mediated chronic inflammatory diseases in treatment paradigms
  • Develop collaborative care guidance that improves the management of patients with multiple manifestations of immune-mediated disease

 

Intended Learners

This activity is designed for dermatologists, rheumatologists, gastroenterologists, immunologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with autoimmune diseases.


Accreditation In support of improving patient care, North American Center for Continuing Medical Education (NACCME) is jointly accred­ited by the Accreditation Council for Continu­ing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accredita­tion Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Cen­ter (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

NACCME designates this live activity for a maximum of 15.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
